After being away for the Rotterdam and London mara

After being away for the Rotterdam and London marathon’s I was finally able to sit and watch The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die a few nights ago and boy oh boy what an epic end to an epic series!! 🤩 Kudos to the writers, directors and actors for ending the series in such a satisfying way, leaving no yearn for more to come. ⁣
⁣
And to have Elaine be a part of the final instalment was such a treat. She did an absolutely fab job of playing Queen Eadgifu and it’s just a shame she wasn’t the chosen one from the beginning. While Sonya Cassidy was perfectly fine, I think Elaine was an all-round better Eadgifu than Sonya was. Maybe I’m biased but I found Elaine’s version gave more strength, depth, believe-ability and enjoyment to the character. ⁣

If you haven’t seen Seven Kings Must Die yet or even invested yourself into the series, I highly, HIGHLY recommend it 😍⁣
